A directory is more than a list
Hark connects a public directory, provider maintenance, curator workflows and interfaces for other systems. A useful implementation combines all four: people can find services, providers can keep them current, a team can resolve issues, and connected software can receive the permitted information.
Start with responsibility. Name the owner of each information source and the team that will resolve problems before deciding how many records to import.
How to use this library
Each task guide gives prerequisites, actions, expected results and recovery advice. Screenshots use fictional demonstration information. A highlighted control explains where to work; it does not operate your directory. Animated guides have manual steps and do not require sound.
This edition is in English and describes the implemented platform as reviewed in October 2026. Configuration, feature switches, permissions and country readiness affect what appears in an individual deployment. Check your own API contract and FHIR CapabilityStatement before connecting a system.
Documentation access
The overview and basic service-finding guide are public. Verify your email to read the full implementation library. This gives access to documentation only. Access to a directory, staff portal or integration credentials is granted separately by the responsible team.
If you already use Hark, contextual help in the application can open the same library with your application identity. Directory-owned help and local contact information remain available in the directory itself.
